For those interested in finding out more about electric clocks, no experience necessary. Electric clocks have a history going back 170 years with Alexander Bain’s first patent of an electromagnetic clock up to the present day quartz movements. Many interesting inventions and developments over this timespan produced a wide variety of clocks to study. Many of these are still around today, a treasure trove of knowledge. Some really great websites are appearing as more people get interested.
